I am a little late on posting on my cute boy. He did not want me to go with him to the biopsy last Tuesday, but I did and he finally admitted that it meant a lot to him that I came. The nurse and the doctor were very nice and Will has an amazing tolerance for pain as they stuck multiple needles in him. It looks like his nodule is a typical Hashimoto's nodule, and Dr. Walker decided to diagnose him with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, which is an autoimmune disease in which his body attacked his thyroid, which is the underlying reason for his being hypothyroid.
So, as for the nodule. Dr. Walker said it would be one of three scenarios. Benign, which it wasn't; malignant, which it wasn't; or questionable, which it was. There were cells in his nodule called Herthle cells which can cause the most dangerous form of thyroid cancer and they are oncocytic cells, which means Will is getting his thyroid out completely. He decided not to get his tonsils out at the same time because of the recovery time and he doesn't want to be away from work that long. He loves his job too much. But, he will be getting his septum fixed which he messed up during one of his many wrestling meets when he was younger and did not even realize it. Anyways, surgery is the 30Th of April, and of course Will does not think it is a big deal, but I do. I swear if he just stressed a little bit, I would probably calm down and not stress as much.

We love you Will and pray your surgery goes textbook. :)
We'll be rooting for fantastic news coming out of the surgery! And Maegan, you would stress no matter what Will did or didn't do, honey.
So kind of good news, right? Hope all goes well with surgery...and I agree with you, shouldn't husbands sometimes freak out too so that we don't have to freak out as much? :) Good luck!
I'm glad you know what your facing now. I'll pray for your family that things go smoothly and Will's recovery will be swift!
Oh boy. It must feel good that they know what is going on, but I can imiagine that you must be so stressed? SO is it hard to recover from a tonsilectomy? I think I have to have this one soon? Should I be worried?
Hope the surgery goes well, good luck to you guys!
I was just about to call you today to hear how everything went. Good luck with the surgery.
i'm so glad you are least know what is going on now, even if the next step is still stressful. know that we are thinking of you.
Will, buddy, don't you miss the days when a little hackey-sack and a lot of Mt Dew went a long way? I'm still there with you (up here). Say hi to Guido for me. Maegan, I love that you and Chandra are so much a like. You are like the twin she never had. Feel free to call and vent anytime...BTW, do you have a webcam? skype? We should connect.
