I have to repent and apologize because I have changed my first opinion. Will and I were able to go see Twilight tonight while my parents watched the girls. I did not have to go to work tonight, so I took advantage of the opportunity to go on a date with my hubby.
I actually hate to admit this, but I LOVED IT! (I am cringing as as I type this)
Yeah, there still might be some areas that could have been done better, but overall, I really liked it much better. It was really fun watching it with Will. I thought he would be making fun of it, but he was really open and I think that helped me enjoy the movie even more. I think it helped because I was thinking it was going to totally suck again, and I looked at how Robert Pattinson portrayed Edward and saw more of his facial expressions were exactly how they should be from Midnight Sun. So, once again, I am repentant and eating my words because now I am back to a big TwiHard again. And I promise, I will not blog about Twilight for awhile, I cannot give a time frame, but I can probably promise no Twilight posts for at least a week.

LOL. I wish Dave would want to see it with me. He vows that IF he does ever watch it it will be when it comes out on video...ugh, I can't wait that long. :) I know what you mean about the midnight sun perspective. I actually had that a lot in mind when I saw it and that totally helped me to understand him better and why he would act the way he was and make the expressions he did. I heard Rob Pattinson actually thought of that manuscript (Stephenie gave it to him to read) the whole time he was acting.

I'm glad you liked it. I saw it with Dave and it was a lot of fun to have him know a bit of the story line. He's been asking me all these vampire questions and I like having him know what it's all about and talk about it with me. I need to see the movie again though. Everyone's said it's better the second time around.
So I loved it the first time, but I have to say that it was SOOOO much better the second time around. I had started reading Midnight Sun before I saw it again I could see some of 'that' Edward in the movie. Know what I mean? Anyway, I decided that I join the Twilight club. It makes me so happy. I saw it the second time on Friday with my Mother in law and sister in law and when I got home, I took and they wrestled Carson and did his make-up vampire style. It was hilarious. And strangley hot!
Oh how happy I am that you are back on the good side again!
