Update

We took Abby to the endocrinologist and it went okay. It did not yield the results or answers that I was hoping, but it was reassuring in a weird sort of way. Dr. Bloch was great, if any of your kids ever have any endocrine problems, I would definitely recommend him. He was very thorough and listened well, but there was miscommunication between my pediatrician and him, so the breast tissue is due to small ovarian cysts leaking estrogen, but he wants to see her again in 4 months. So basically Abby is small and there is nothing much to do about it.

But one good thing that has happened is that we decided to stop the medication that Abby was taking for her RTA because it did not seem to be helping her gain weight and she had horribly loose stools every time after we gave it to her. So we stopped it and in 1 month she gained almost a POUND AND A HALF. Abby now weighs 18 POUNDS 7 OUNCES. Pretty soon, if she gains a little more weight it might actually be legal for her to be in the forward facing car seat that she has been in for over a year now!

That cute little Abby (soon we can't call her little:)- It sounds like this is a good doctor. Can't wait for you guys to come over, and we will totally hit the water park.

this reminds me of when my youngest sister was little. she never made it on the growth chart, and when she was 10 we finally figured out she has turners syndrome. i can imagine it's hard not knowing and being a nurse and wanting your baby to grow. but as long as she's happy and healthy, tiny is cute!
