Ellie has been sick for over a week now with diarrhea and vomiting and today she decided to stop eating AND drinking. It was time for an IV. We took her to the Children's hospital in Parker and got her an IV. She had to get poked twice. She did not even cry while they poked her. She was so tough. She got to eat chocolate that Grandma and Grandpa Olson brought when she was feeling better and she watched Aristocats while her IV was infusing. Hopefully, this will get her through the rest of the stomach virus. She got tons of stickers after and everyone thought she was adorable.
