Big ouchie!

I had to get a new tetanus shot at work on Monday. Well, I did not watch the girl give me the shot and I think that she did not use the right needle and the injection did not go into my muscle. I have a huge red swollen area on my tricep. It is warm and it hurts really bad. So my advice, if you cannot watch the person give you your vaccine, make sure someone is there to watch. Most vaccines are given into the muscle. If they give it into your fat tissue, that is wrong. The vaccine will not be absorbed right. This is a lesson that I have learned the hard way and hope that no one else will have this experience.
